WE ARE MEANT TO BE TOGETHER

Chris and Mercy had been friends since childhood. They grew up together in Makurdi, a bustling city in the heart of Nigeria. Despite going to different high schools, they remained close, often spending their weekends exploring the city's many parks and landmarks. As they grew older, their friendship blossomed into something more. They both knew that they were meant to be together, but were afraid to take the next step. Chris was focused on his studies, while Mercy was busy with her career as a nurse. However, fate had other plans. One day, Chris was involved in a car accident and was rushed to the hospital where Mercy worked. She was shocked to see him lying there, battered and bruised. She couldn't bear the thought of losing him and stayed by his side, nursing him back to health. During his recovery, Chris realized how much Mercy meant to him. He knew that he couldn't imagine his life without her. He mustered up the courage to tell her how he felt, and to his relief, Mercy felt the same way. From that day on, they were inseparable. They explored Makurdi together, trying out new restaurants and visiting all the tourist attractions. They also supported each other in their careers, with Chris helping Mercy study for her nursing exams and Mercy cheering Chris on as he pursued his dream of becoming a doctor. They knew that their love was meant to be, and they decided to get married in Makurdi, the city that had brought them together. The wedding was a beautiful affair, with friends and family from all over the country coming to celebrate their love. Years later, Chris and Mercy were still happily married, living in Makurdi and raising a family. They often looked back on their journey and marveled at how they were always meant to be together, even when they didn't realize it. And every time they drove past the spot where Chris had his accident, they would hold hands and smile, knowing that it was the moment that changed their lives forever.
