TILL FOREVER COMES

Freda and Shady had been in love for almost three years. They were the perfect match, complementing each other in every aspect of life. Shady was a tall and handsome man, with a great sense of humor, while Freda was a beautiful and charming lady, with a heart full of love. They were inseparable and their love for each other grew stronger with each passing day. Shady was a civil servant in Makurdi, while Freda was a fashion designer in the same town. They met at a friend's party and had been together ever since. Shady had always been insecure about Freda's love for him, and would often ask her how long she would love him. Freda's answer was always the same, "Till forever comes." Shady was content with her answer, thinking that Freda would love him forever. Little did he know that Forever was not a concept, but a person, and that person was Freda's ex-boyfriend, who was living in Abuja. Freda had never mentioned her ex to Shady, as she thought it was irrelevant and didn't want to hurt Shady's feelings. One day, while Shady was away on official duty, Forever came back to Makurdi, and Freda decided to meet him. She realized that her feelings for Forever were still strong, and she couldn't deny the fact that she still loved him. Freda broke up with Shady, and when he asked her why, she simply said, "I had on several occasions told you that I will love you till Forever comes and now he is back." Shady was heartbroken, and couldn't believe that Freda had left him for someone else. He felt like he had been betrayed, and wondered why Freda had never mentioned her ex to him before. He confronted her, but Freda explained that she didn't want to hurt him, and that her love for Shady was real, but she couldn't deny her feelings for Forever. Shady was hurt, but he decided to move on with his life. He realized that Freda had always been honest with him, and had never cheated on him. He wished her all the best, and hoped that she would find happiness with Forever. As for Freda, she was happy to be reunited with Forever, and she knew that she had made the right decision. She was grateful for the time she had spent with Shady, but knew that her heart belonged to someone else. She hoped that Shady would find love again, and that he would be happy in his new relationship. In the end, Shady and Freda went their separate ways, but their love story remained in the hearts of those who knew them. They had experienced a love that was true and pure, but sometimes love is not enough to make a relationship work. Sometimes, people have to make tough decisions in order to find their happiness
