A DESPERATE CRY FOR THE INSECURITY IN NIGERIA

Birds of the Earth have nests, foxes of the  Earth have dens but a Nigerian man has nowhere even to lay his head.....

Ooooh! Native of  Nigeria, we  have had indeed bloodshed upon the land;  we have endured the sharp edges of cutlasses and the venoms of the guns.

What have we done?  I ask again what is our offense? Even animals have shelves and bushes  to rest but where is that of a Nigerian man? where is that of a poor Nigerian? and  where is that of a common citizen?  Oh!  my eyes has become a stream full of tears, my mind has become heavier than a stone, in the same way streams flows into  the river, so is my tears to the mother Earth. I can't believe peace and joy will become a  product of the past in this country,  yes I can't believe!

I can't believe  citizen are being hunted, I can't believe innocent souls are being killed as wild animals.

We hunt animals for food but for what  are human hunted?

Oh! Nigerians now have sleepless nights for the fear of enemies,  even with  houses they are homeless, when will this comes to an end?  There is No hope for the people as  innocent pregnant women and even children keep joining our ancestors as the result of the venoms of the guns and sharp edges of cutlasses.

If a fellow Nigerian is  killed today, then what is my fate that I will not be killed tomorrow? Aaaaah!😭😭 If one can not travel freely for the fear of becoming a victim today, then how sure  am I that tomorrow I won't be a victim.

Aaaaah!😭😭 Is this how we all are going to perish?  One who died yesterday watch as the other died day before yesterday, I  watched as both of them died, are you going to watch as I die until you die and we both perish?
